Dehydrated Campari Tomatoes!

I hate wasting food because that means I’m also wasting money. Whenever possible, I like to preserve something for a later time instead of throwing it in the trash. Dehydrating fruits and vegetables is a great way to do this and I like to use Pampered Chef’s Deluxe Air Fryer since it has a Dehydrate Function. The best part is the hands on time is minimal.

  • Total Time: 8 hours 5 minutes

Campari Tomatoes (however many you have that need to be preserved)

Pampered Chef’s Sweet Basil Rub

Wedge your tomatoes using Pampered Chef’s Veggie Wedger

Place tomato wedges on air fryer trays

Sprinkle with Pampered Chef’s Sweet Basil Rub

Set Deluxe Air Fryer to Dehydrate for 8 hours. Rotate the trays every 1-2 hours if possible.

Add more time if they aren’t dry enough after 8 hours.

Refrigerate until ready to use.

You can also store them in olive oil.

I have not used my Air Fryer as a dehydrator.. I have tons of Tomatoes and cherry tomatoes! I cut them and sprinkled Pampered Chefs Garlic Parmesan on them! So Awesome! To have that function!!
