I've shopped at Aldi for more than 10 years and I don't know why it took me so long to check it out. Shopping at Aldi saves me so much money but I'll admit, it takes a minute to train your brain on how to shop there. It's not fancy, there isn't a deli or bakery and they mostly sell their own brand. However, most of the time, I feel like their brand is better than name brand and in most cases, it doesn't have all the gross added ingredients used in other brands. Most of their products don't have high fructose corn syrup, MSG or synthetic colors. That's a win in my book! I'll admit, there might be a few things you can't find but after a few trips you'll realize it's worth all the money you save to stop at a 2nd store to grab a couple of items.
You also need a Quarter to borrow a shopping cart but the good news is, they give you the Quarter back when you return the cart. This is one way they cut prices because they aren't paying an employee to collect carts from the parking lot. If you don't have a quarter, just ask the cashier and they will give you one!
When I lived in Georgia, I gave tours of our local Aldi store and I was always so shocked by how many people came and wanted to learn more. I know it's because everyone wants to keep more money in their pockets and Aldi can help you do that!

Wednesday is the BEST day to shop because their Ad deals release on Wednesday’s
Thursday is the slowest day. Shop this day if you want to avoid the crowd.
Sunday is the busiest day by far, especially after lunch so shop early or wait for another day.
The more you shop Aldi, you'll realize they have somewhat of a 'cult like' following, especially once you discover their "aisle of shame". This aisle is full of products you need but didn't know you needed before you arrived. They carry a variety of just about everything from specialty foods to furniture and clothing. It's always an adventure to shop the aisle of shame and now my kids even get excited about it. Christmas on the aisle of shame is even more fun! My last tour was right before Christmas and when I went to do some pre-tour shopping, I left with these giant stuffies for my boys! This is a perfect example of finding what you didn't know you needed!
One of my favorite Aldi Finds... is this gorgeous table! I bought this for our lanai and ordered the chairs from Amazon. Doesn't it look amazing?? Have you ever bought something but aren't quite sure it will fit in your car? Well, this is the perfect example. If I didn't have my kids, this would have slid right in but Aldi frowns upon leaving your kids behind so the nice guy working that day helped me slide this in right over their heads! Thankfully the weight didn't break the headrests!
We enjoyed our Thanksgiving dinner on this beautiful table and started a new tradition!! Living in South Florida makes eating outside a lot easier in the Winter.
Aldi is also known for their variety of Advent Calendars for Christmas and Hannukah. You better be prepared to get there the day they launch.. it's like Aldi's Black Friday. There will be a line outside the door and you have to get a ticket if you want to buy their beer or wine advent calendars. They also have fun calendars for kids and even food calendars! They have a delicious cheese calendar and I even bought my husband a hot sauce calendar! What will they come up with next?

In case you didn't know, Aldi doesn't allow any filming in their stores so I have to show you my haul from my kitchen!

If you shop at Aldi, let me know what you love the most! If you've never shopped, I hope you'll give it a try and it might take 2-3 trips before you really feel excited about shopping but I hope the savings will encourage you to give it a shot!
